SPRING 2025 CLASSES START JANUARY 15TH!
AGES 14+
How are King Tut and the microwave connected? What’s the Dancing Plague and how did it help create Tesla, Inc.? In our 2024-2025 THCH High School Co-Op class, we will use the fascinating concept of six degrees of separation to answer these questions and many more!
Throughout the year, we will connect science, history, ecology, world culture, and current events through a series of hands-on investigations, engaging games, creative projects, insightful guest speakers, and immersive experiences. Students will dive deep into various subjects, discovering the surprising ways they intersect and influence each other.
Weekly at-home assignments will complement our in-class activities, ensuring students stay engaged and prepared. Optional bonus work will be available for those who wish to delve even deeper into our topics. Timely completion of assignments is expected before each class session to maximize our collaborative learning experience.
This dynamic class includes frequent field trips to enhance our understanding of the material, culminating in an optional year-end international trip to Athens, Greece, in April. This journey will provide an unparalleled opportunity to explore the concepts we’ve studied throughout the year in a real-world context. Join us for an unforgettable adventure in learning!
